Art Sign ASL Performances

Arts for All is dedicated to welcoming the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community into the theater. To achieve this, we have partnered with passionate and skilled local ASL theatrical interpreters, including Carol LaCava, Distinguished Lecturer of the Education Interpreting Program at the University of Tennessee, to bring the Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities into local theater programs through our "Art Sign ASL Performances" initiative.

This program aims to educate local theater groups on the importance and impact of providing ASL interpreted performances for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities. Arts for All will collaborate with local theater companies to include an "Art Sign Performance" in their schedules. We will provide professional interpreters for these performances, training for the theater troupe,  and marketing of the ASL interpreted show/s to the Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities in our area.
