1. Scholarships are awarded on an “as available,” first-come, first-served basis.
Individuals must be applying to a program that aligns with the mission of Arts for All
Tennessee. We strive to make theater and artistic endeavors available to children to
build self-confidence, nurture creativity, develop leadership skills, and have fun. We do
this by providing the following scholarship programs:
Spotlight Scholarships: These provide funding to theater camps, workshops,
and other educational opportunities for students. Priority will be given to students
with demonstrated financial need.
Professional Development Initiative: This program supports and provides
funding for continuing educational opportunities for instructors, directors, and
other local theater professionals.
2. Scholarships are funded through donations and grants and are, therefore, awarded
according to funds available.
3. “Arts for All Tennessee” Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, gender,
religion, age, national origin or sexual orientation.
4. Scholarship applications will be reviewed and awarded by our Board of Directors.
5. Scholarships awarded will be paid directly to the organization or institution to whom
the candidate is attending unless there is a pre-approved extenuating circumstance
deemed acceptable by the Board of Trust. Receipts will be required and documentation
will be kept on file for each physical year.
6). To be considered for an Arts for All Tennessee Scholarship Award, applicants must
complete the application below at least one-month, preferably two to three months, prior
to the start of the program for which they are applying. Only completed application
forms will be considered. Programs must be associated with the arts with preference
given to programs supporting theatrical endeavors.
